This 19 year old expression from Scapa is a rare, sophisticated single cask whisky. Distilled on the 27th of March 2000 and bottled at a natural cask strength of 52% abv in 2020. The use of Scotland’s single surviving Lomond wash still has amplified the fruitiness of the spirit. Matured for just under two decades in a first fill barrel, #609. Expect notes of raspberry and berry compote, tangy orange marmalade and hazelnuts on the palate.
